On most API instances that include VOD metadata, there is a single source representing the relevant customer&#8217;s VOD catalog.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary Properties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\nImportant properties on a source document are as follows:\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\">\n\n<table><tbody><tr><td>O<strong>bject name<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Data provided by object<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>sourceId<\/td><td>Simply.TV&#8217;s unique ID for the source. Every contentinstance\/event document is linked to a source document in that the internalIds.sourceId of the event document matches the sourceId of a source document.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>sourceNames<\/td><td>The name of the source.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>sourceType<\/td><td>Indicates whether the source is linear or vod.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>delivery.quality<\/td><td>Simply.TV typically delivers linear channel metadata in two different levels of richness:<br> Standard, including a synopsis, a genre and an image for every program, and<br> Premium, including cast lists, series\/season IDs and tags for recommendation.<br> This property indicates the level to which a linear channel is built.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nSome data structures are used within several of the above objects &#8211; see <a href=\"\/index.php\/documentation\/responses\/common-document-features\/\">here<\/a> for an explanation of how to interpret those data structures.\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A source document can represent one of two things: For linear schedules it represents a linear channel.
